Guys, you really need to make an effort to get your stories about those "Iranian nukes" straight because you're just plain contradicting each other now!
Reuters, Wednesday March 9, 2011: The United States said military aspects to Iran's nuclear work were "increasingly apparent," as the big six world powers urged Tehran Wednesday to cooperate with the U.N. atomic watchdog to help resolve such concerns
Oh, but...
The Washington Times, Monday, March 7, 2011: An annual intelligence report to Congress has dropped language stating that Iran’s nuclear weapons ambitions are a future option....The deleted language also had stated for two years that Iran was keeping open the option to build atomic weapons. However, the latest report to Congress, which was made public Feb. 23, no longer states that Iran’s building a weapon is an option.
Hmmm...LOL
And the funny thing is that apparently no one in the news business noticed the contradiction and bothered to point it out.
The 2011 NIE is out and it is completely classified. If it would state something in contradiction of the 2007 NIE it would have been trumpeted already. That the declassified part of the 2007 NIE had stated that Iran has halted ("with high confidence") its military nuclear program in 2003 has prevented another war in ME. Obama is too smart to repeat such a mistake. But all this tells volumes about the U.S. being in trouble with Iran.
