Flynt Leverett's first analysis of the sanctions shows there is hardly anything new because the essential thing is the annex. And this one is ridiculous.

And Robert Dreyfuss in The Nation:

Excellent!

Wrong-wrong-wrong, the west, in particular US and UK, are practically bankrupt, there is no money for another war, which is why they constantly try to stir up trouble inside Iran in the hope that may be, just may be the Iranian people topple the IRI regime.
These sanctions are cheap tools utilised to impose pressure on the day to day living standard of the Iranian citizens, the US administration and their bosses, i.e. the Zionists, aim to force the Iranian people to become hostile to their own government, as if we haven’t seen other cheep propagandas by which the US aimed to reach the same result.
The recent sanctions proved that another war is just not financially viable, which is why they are trying to get the Iranian nation to do their dirty work and without any western casualties.
The government of Iran is legally and morally responsible to protect the sovereignty of Iran and its legal rights from the tyranny of the west and to this end, they will have full support of the Iranian people around the world.
