So did the Israelis agree to sell drone planes to Russia in order to pressure Russia to not honor their contract to provide an anti-aircraft defense system to Iran? UPI says so:
In the first UAV sale to Russia in June, the Israelis withheld the most advanced UAV variants after several Russian officials publicly stated that the main reason they wanted the UAVs was to purloin their technology.
But the Israelis understood that it was vital to be able to influence Moscow, Iran's main arms supplier, to block the delivery of S-300PMU air-defense missiles to the Islamic Republic.
I think Israel cant influence on Russia anyway-even if they sell UAV to Russia. I remember that once Israel made a present for Russia-church in jerusalim. Medvedev answered- i am very appreciative and i promise to do everything in oder to stop terrorism. lol.
