Burning Khomeini's picture in Tehran -- the contradiction

I don't get it -- we have several pundits and experts claiming that the demonstrators in Iran which started against thealleged voterigging are now becoming more radicalized , no longer under control of Mousavi and Karroubi, and want to fundamentally overthrow the system there -- and yet the defiling of Khomeini's photos must have been staged and could not have possibly been done by the same demonstrators, and quote the same Mousavi and Karroubi to that effect.

Seems like people are reading their own agendas onto the events in Iran, as usual.

What's more, those radicalized students who were being portrayed as anti-regime were sure quick to turn out the next day holding placards of Imam Khomeini, to prove they wouldn't do such a thing.
