According to Reuters, Sec of State Clinton has demanded that Iran must "ease fears over its nuclear program or risk greater isolation" and,
"We have made clear our desire to resolve issues with Iran diplomatically. Iran must now decide whether to join us in this effort," Clinton said, adding that there could be profound consequences for failure to act.
The news reports are parroting her verbatim like the good parrots they are, but lets not for a moment forget what this rhetoric of "easing fears" and "resolving issues" really means, as Clinton herself made clear already:
You do not have the right to full enrichment and reprocessing cycle under your control.
Umm...yes, they do. However YOU do not have the right to threaten Iran and blackmail them into giving up an inalienable, absolute, unquestionable, sovereign right.
If they get away with this, they can similarly demand that Iran give up Tabriz too. It is that fundamental.
