THe NeoCons and the warmongers keep saying that "Diplomacy has failed" with Iran when it comes to negotiations over Iran's totally legitimate, absolute and inalienable right to enrich uranium.
Here are the facts: The so-called "diplomacy" used with Iran has consisted of (illegal) demands that they give up their righ to use their own technology and resources to make their own nuclear fuel, whilst threatening (again, illegally) to bomb them. If it has "failed" it is simply because it was meant to fail. No matter how many concessions Iran makes, no matter how many extra-legal IAEA inspections it allows, no matter how many limits and restrictions is offers to put on its nuclear program (as it done in the past) it will only lead to more demands for more concessions. Why? Because like I said, the plan is not to ensure that Iran has a "transparent" enrichment program that can't be used to make nukes (such is the case right now.) The plan is to 1-deprive Iran (and then, the rest of the developing world) of uranium enrichment know-how, thus creating a monopolistic cartel of nuclear fuel providers, and 2- ensuring Israel's domination over the Mideast.
So don't get fooled by all the "Iran refuses talks" or "diplomacy has failed" rhetoric.
Very True. Indeed, I think if tomorrow Iran offered to halt and even dismantle its nuclear program, we would hear endless talk of how Iran can't be trusted. Its such a big country and they must be hiding an enrichment program somewhere.
Any compromise by Iran would only encourage them to demand more and more without end. When finally Iran can give no more they will scream diplomacy has failed. Holding its ground from the very beginning was a strong strategy on Iran's part.
