I rarely check the statistics on this blog mainly because I am not sure how things are quantified (what exactly is a page view?) but in any case I am now approaching 500,000 page views which sounds significant. I have about 700 page views per day lately, maxed out at 1200 for a while when I debunked the NY Times "reporting" on the Iran IAEA report.
Thing is, since my most recent posts all appear in full on the "front page" I don't know if my page views stats can be compared to other blogs whose homepage consists of only partial posts & which require users to actually click on a post heading before reading the full post (so they get two page views.) As for comments; about half of my 800 posts have comments posted, which I suppose is a good thing but again I don't know what benchmarking applies to all of this. However, regardless, I just wanted to say thanks to my readers. (Most popular post, btw, is the one debunking the "Iranian boys arm crushed for stealing bread" myth.)
