Paul Kerr has penned another Congressional Research Service Report on Iran's nuclear programme-- and all my criticisms of last year's report still apply to it.
Note for example how he fails to mention that the IAEA has not been permitted to actually present Iran with the documents which allegedly prove that Iran was engaged in a weapons program -- documents that IRan is nevertheless expected to somehow refute.
Note also how he attributes Iran's restart of enrichment to Ahmadinejad's election, when in fact Iran announced plans to withdraw from its voluntary suspension of enrichment months before Ahmadinejad's election, due to the fact that the EU-3 had cheated Iran and violated the Paris Agreement (something Kerr leaves out entirely, among many other facts.)
Note also how he fails to mention that the "additional cooperation" that the IAEA has demanded of Iran goes well beyond Iran's existing legal obligations, as well as the requirements of the Additional Protocol, to which Iran is not a party.
I could go on. Basically, this is a propagand piece.
