The Forward reports on the formation of a self-proclaimed "broad-based coalition" against Iran called United Against Nuclear Iran. And get this! The head of the group is a protege of none other than our favorite raving lunatic, John Bolton. Richard Silverstein investigates further.
This should come as no surprise. There's apparently a lot of "seed money" for starting up anti-Iran groups available out there. Freedom's Watch was also created by pro-Israeli former Bush administration officials (including Ari Fleischer, a former Bush press secretary) and have also sought to replicate progressive groups -- but actually, so far they've just sucked up Sheldon Adelson's money.
Hello, Sheldon? Instead of throwing your money away on these groups who don't actually accomplish anything, buy me a sailboat. Seriously - we're talking less that $200,000 - chump change for you. I want a sailboat. I deserve a sailboat. It is a nice weekend, and I'm going to go looking at sailboats in my area.
