Joschka Fischer, Germany's former foreign minister, is pushing the old "false choice" fallacy to frame the debate over Iran's nuclear program
Although it is acknowledged in Jerusalem that an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities would involve grave and hard-to-assess risks, the choice between acceptance of an Iranian bomb and an attempt at its military destruction, with all the attendant consequences, is clear. Israel won't stand by and wait for matters to take their course.
No, Joschka, it is not clear. Stop trying to legitimize Israeli aggression. Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons, isn't out to get them, and has offered several compromise solutions that would address any real concerns about proliferation -- it is Israel that has the nuclear weapons, and has refused to sign the NPT, and has consistently rejected the notion of creating a nuclear weapons-free middle east that Iran first suggested back in the 1970s.
It is Israel that is a regional threat, not Iran.
What a filthy cunt you are!!
