This is going to be a regular feature on my site -- Today's Liars. Here, I plan on highlighting the most egregious examples of poor journalism that I run across - so poor, in fact, that it can't merely be attributable to simple incompetence. As sort of a celebatory kick-start, I'm going to start out with TWO lying liars: Jonathan Freedland of the Guardian, and David E Sanger of the New York Times.

On Sunday, Zbigniew Brzezinski had an oped in the Los Angeles Times entitled "Been There, Done That" in which he compares the build-up to the Iraq war with the current hysteria about Iran, and examines the potential consequences of a war on Iran.

When asked about nuking Iran, Bush responded that "all options are on the table." Bush's threat to nuke Iran is an international war crime for which he should be indicted and put on trial. Iran should immediately file charges against him, and demand that the UN Security Council should act pursuant to Security Council Resolution 984 of 11 April 1995, to protect the world from Bush's genocidal threats.
